Tour gossip: Snedeker and Kuchar using prototype ball
Brandt Snedeker and Matt Kuchar used a prototype Bridgestone ball at the Presidents Cup.
The American duo, who used the B330 and B330-S models respectively on Tour this year, have a very similar taste in equipment. Indeed, they use the same irons (Bridgestone J40), hybrid (Ping Anser), and shafts (Aerotech SteelFiber).
They both trialled the brand’s new four-piece prototype and were suitably impressed.
Speaking to GolfWeek, Snedeker said: “It’s a little longer, spins a little more, and is a little softer. It’s a really good ball.
“It went straight into the bag. Kuch, too.”
