How to stop duffing your chip shots
The main reason for topping the ball is because people lean back, trying to scoop the ball up with their wrists.
This makes it very hard to get a clean connection with the ball.
The most common reason for duffing chip shots is making to big of a back swing and then trying to slow the speed of the club down, which ends up with you hitting the ground first.
To correct this, hold the club at the bottom of the grip to gain more control over the club.
