This episode of Putting performance principles is all about your attitude and how a simple mindset change could improve your achievements on the greens.

In this series as a whole, you will be asked to consider the ‘art of putting’. This will involve ensuring that your mind is in the best place to allow your putting stroke to come out on a more natural basis. The ultimate aim of the series is to help you to hole more putts, shoot lower scores and have more fun on the golf course.

Two questions

If questions focus your attention, and we want your attention in the right place with putting, it would be a really good idea to ask a couple of questions before you attempt a putt.

What does this ball need to do in order to go in the hole?

Can I make this putt?

These questions help focus your attention on the task in hand.

More recently one of his Premiership football clients Tom Heaton made his full England debut.
