Stewart VERTX Remote Golf Trolley Review : NCG Summary
NCG Summary
2025 has seen Stewart Golf have release their VERTX remote golf trolley. An extremely stylish, efficient remote option for us golfers to consider. The electric trolley market is ever evolving, Stewart are considered one of the market leading brands in this field and its not hard to see why.
The VERTX on first glance really is a smart piece of kit. The design is very sleek, and for what is a product packed with technology it’s impressive how clean the trolley looks.
The VERTX’s starting position is very compact for what is a lot of trolley, it folds up into a tidy shape allowing for easy storage at home, as well as fitting into the boot of your car. Assembly of the trolley is also very simple, easily doable in 10 seconds once you know the order. Attaching the bag is also easy, there are two rubber straps. The first is an adjustable straps that fits the top part of your bag to the trolley, and the lower strap just wraps around the base of your bag. Throughout the round I can confidently say there was no shuffling around and they held the bag in a steady position for the entirety of the golf played.
On course performance
Now, onto the course. The remote is very simple to use, enough functions to do everything you need but not too many that you find yourself assessing the remote like it’s an old TV remote with buttons that never get pressed. There is 3 speed settings to set the trolley on a cruise control speed, or you can adjust the speed and direction with simple arrow buttons. There are also two options to stop, an abrupt version (for poor driving) and a smooth glide stop function for normal use.

It moves remarkably easy across all terrain, even when challenged with steep inclines and down slopes. There are two small wheels at the back to maintain balance when moving up the hill, which admittedly takes some getting used to as I leapt multiple times thinking it would topple, it never did. Even when faced with incline / decline areas of the course, the trolley maintains the speed set at which is very useful.
The battery life of the VERTX is stand out in the market. I can vouch for this as I used the trolley as part of Prostate Cancer’s 100 hole challenge in a day, I managed exactly 45 holes before the battery ran out which is extremely good going.
I have nothing bad to say about this product, but perhaps a comparison you could make is the size of the remote compared to similar products from Stewart’s competitors. This by no means reduced the experience I had with the trolley, but it is noticeable when lined up against products of similar features from competitors.
NCG Verdict
I am sure if you are in the market for a new electric trolley Stewart and it’s products are already on your radar. Based on my experience this product should definitely be considered. It is remarkably efficient to use around the course and makes for a very easy round of golf. The trolley is easy to set up and take down, as well as compact to store when you’re away from the golf course. If you’re on the look out for a new trolley, we’d certainly recommend considering the VERTX remote.
