First impressions
Definitely a bit of ‘wow that is different’. Not sure I have ever owned a golfing fleece before, possibly not even a fleece, so this felt like a departure. Love the navy and the detailing…

I actually wore this a few times around my house to get the idea, it is something of a unique feel. It has a rear pocket that is very handy for storing mittens. You definitely know you are wearing it, and I much prefer it zipped up, although I have worn it open over a hoody and a shirt.
On Course Testing
I have worn this a lot on course and to practice in. It is properly warm. I was worried about being able to swing properly but it plays really well. Despite its bulk movement is not compromised, elasticated sleeves help, as does the v cut at the bottom of the zipper. As you can see here I have worn it over a Sounder Hoodie and was still able to practice on a chilly winters day.
Playing in the fleece is equally comfortable, when you do warm up it does take some storing but when the weather is in the low single figures this is obviously not a concern, and it is also warm enough to be worn just over a base layer and long sleeved polo.
It has two exceptionally deep front pockets, that you can store your hands in whilst walking with a winter pencil bag.
One very exciting feature is a back pocket, think of a Kanagaroo’s pouch but at the back or just think of a pocket. It is genuinely handy for mittens whilst you hit or a bobble hat that has become surplus to requirements. Or off course some cumbersome kids item or other. It is just a really handy pocket, alright.

The 19th hole
Big fan of this off the course. As you can see I have worn it to practice in and as you can also see it is very much a casual cut and looks good with jeans. I wear it often as my Sounder Golf hoodie.
