After four years away, Callaway Rogue is back! And this time it’s been speed tuned. Say hello to four brand new Callaway Rogue ST drivers…
Callaway Rogue ST driver: First impressions
This Rogue ST line-up has a strikingly different visual. I love the rich black and gold colour scheme as well as the new matte finish on the crown.

We still see lots of classic Callaway styling and features but these are much more eye-catching than some of their recent colourways.

Callaway Rogue ST driver: The line-up

Callaway Rogue ST Max
This is Callaway’s highest MOI driver so offers the most forgiveness in the Rogue ST range. It is designed to be slightly draw bias and suit all levels of golfer. It is the bests combination of distance and forgiveness in a Callaway driver.

Callaway Rogue ST Max D
The Max D model is designed for golfers looking for a driver to offer maximum forgiveness and shot shape correction thanks to its draw bias design. It has a generously stretched profile at address for confidence.

Callaway Rogue ST Max LS
The Rogue ST Max LS is designed to provide a balance of forgiveness, low spin and a strong trajectory. It has a more neutral ball flight and is more workable making it a great option for low-mid handicappers.

Callaway Rogue ST LS Triple Diamond
For the first time Callaway are bringing this tour offering to market. The LS Triple Diamond is the lowest spinning Rogue ST model with a neutral to fade bias flight. It also offers a compact 450cc head.

Callaway Rogue ST driver: The technology
The main new technology for 2022 can be seen right on the back of the club head. That pop of gold colour is actually a tungsten speed cartridge.

This is a heavy weight which sits low and back in the driver head to increase perimeter weighting. This pulls the centre of gravity back and increases MOI. The result of this is more forgiveness and more speed on off-centre hits. The size of this weight varies across all four models to dial in the driver for different players needs.
The Jailbreak Speed Frame has been updated with a new shape to give more stability horizontally across the clubhead. Stiffening the clubhead in this way allows the face to flex more, which creates more ball speed. The new smaller shape is lighter than before, allowing weight to be saved and used elsewhere.

The titanium clubhead is held together via the new unibody construction. This is a one-piece structure which is much more weight efficient as it doesn’t require welding. This means Callaway can be much more precise with weighting and CoG placement.
Again artificial intelligence has been used to optimise performance, this year Callaway have honed in on spin and launch to the AI process. The result is a lower-spinning driver which also adds forgiveness.

Each driver model has a uniquely designed club face which is optimised for that driver’s performance requirements.
