Srixon Z565 and Z765 Drivers: The Technology

The all-ability Z565 driver has a 460cc head with slight draw bias and will inspire more confidence at address than the sleeker Z765 which is aimed at better players.

There’s a 10 percent higher COR (how much the ball springs off the face) on the Z565 to help generate higher ball speeds across the entire face and maximise distance on off-centre hits.

Both drivers feature new technology which Srixon are calling ‘The Ripple Effect’.

It is the culmination of a new sole which absorbs more stress at impact for improved ball speed, a 10 percent larger sweetspot area and a lightweight crown with weight re-positioned for higher launch.

The Z765 driver was in the bag of China’s Ashun Wu when he won the European Tour’s Lyoness Open and also helped Yosuke Tsukada to victory at the Japan Golf Tour Championship.

There’s also new fairway woods, hybrids and a Z U65 utility iron in the range which benefit from similar technologies to the driver.

The Z F65 also features an Arc Support Channel which helps to stabilise initial launch for more more consistent distance and accuracy.

In the Z H65 hybrids there’s optimised centre of gravity locations with it being placed lower in the lower lofted clubs to promote a higher initial launch.

The Z U65 utility iron has larger grooves for more spin and control for shots into the green. Its hollow construction allows more weight to be re-positioned lower for higher launch and more carry.
