As the year comes to a close it’s time to dish out the NCG Equipment Awards. Finally, we take a look at the best drivers of the year

After 12 months of testing it’s finally time to reveal the winners of the NCG Equipment Awards for the year. We’ll be revealing our winners across nine categories between now and the new year – so let’s get on with it. Here are the best drivers 2019 had to offer.

Most powerful: Cobra F9

Cobra really lifted their performance with this driver. The ball speeds are exceptionally producing some of the best numbers we saw all season. When you combine this with its lower price point it is very hard to overlook. 

Most forgiving: Ping G410

NCG Equipment Awards: Best Drivers 2019

Probably the easiest club in the market to get in play delivering great forgiveness from all over the clubface. If you want to consistently hit more fairways you need to try this one out – it’s an incredibly reliable driver.

My favourite club aesthetically, the simple classic look really suits my eye and sits great behind the ball. I have a really consistent launch and flight with this club as well as great ball speeds even when I don’t strike it perfect hence why it made it into my bag for 2019.
