There is no doubting the popularity of electric trolleys. Car parks at golf courses are flooded with golfers setting up their electric trolleys, a lot of which tend to be from the world’s number one electric trolley brand, Motocaddy.
Some golfers have gone a step further and putting a remote electric trolley into play with Motocaddy seeing a 31% increase in remote control trolley sales last year alone. To deal with this demand, updates have been made to the award-winning Motocaddy M7 remote electric trolleys.
Ahead of the new season and with the better weather approaching these models have received a new sporty design. Some exciting on-course features have also been added to make life that little bit easier every round.

Motocaddy M7 GPS Remote and M7 Remote Electric Trolleys: The Technology
Assisted by Virtual Reality and rapid-prototyping, alongside A.I. technologies, Motocaddy’s product design team have developed a sleek automotive-inspired design with a host of market-leading features.
Such features include a new Click N Collect cable-free Lithium battery technology that Motocaddy say has helped to revolutionise the M7 electric trolleys. It is also constructed to be compatible with the stylish design of the updated trolleys.
Practicality has be improved in these latest Motocaddy electric trolley offerings as a pop-up port for quick and easy charging has been developed. It’s no secret how golf equipment can have a tendency to have to overcomplicate things, but there is no need to be a tech wizard to use these golf trolleys.
Additionally, the battery has been is lightweight for easy mobility and now incorporates auto-disconnect technology. This automatically powers off of the trolley when folded, so you won’t have a flat battery ahead of your Saturday morning round. These are functions you won’t see anywhere else on the market and are exclusive to Motocaddy products.

Suitable all year round, there is no terrain harsh enough or weather too extreme that will stop you using either of new M7 electric trolleys. They are fitted with low-profile aerodynamic tyres with an all-terrain tread and have ergonomic handle grips for a more comfortable use.
The trolleys can also be used on more severely undulated courses thanks to a a new retractable rear anti-tip stabilising wheel which can remain attached for folding. No matter where you play golf your clubs can be transported safely.

Motocaddy M7 GPS Remote
Main Attributes: Motocaddy claim it is the world’s most intelligent remote-controlled touchscreen electric trolley. Some of the main attributes of the touchscreen are the ultra-responsive remote navigation with cutting-edge GPS technology, Bluetooth® smartphone alerts, plus super-fast WIFI for firmware and course updates showcased on a crystal-clear 3.5″ LCD touchscreen display.
Has 40,000 pre-loaded courses with precise distances to the front, middle, and back of the green, as well as hazard information. A Dynamic Green View displays the outline of the green and allows drag-and-drop pin positioning for more precise shots.
Function: Designed to offer ultimate versatility, allowing golfers to switch effortlessly between remote control and handle control modes at the push of a button.
Other features: An on-screen battery meter, a USB charging port, and a rechargeable remote handset. A timer for pace of play is included as part of the touchscreen features.
Motocaddy M7 Remote
Main Attributes: As it is the same as the GPS model, this a remote control range of over 100 yards. Cutting-edge downhill control technology to enable the trolley to maintain a consistent speed going downhill. This is also aided by a new retractable anti-tip rear stabilising wheel.
Function: Designed to deliver a responsive control and exceptional handling across all terrains, providing golfers with forward, left, right, and reverse navigation. Pause, resume and an emergency stop functions add to the ultimate control.

Other features: A next-generation high power 28.8V system, powerful 230W DHC twin motors, dual 360° rotating front wheels, an LCD widescreen display, a USB charging port, and a remote handset lock function. As well as the EASILOCK bag-to-trolley connection system.
