Visually I loved the silver finish. While previous models leaned towards a bold blue, I think this switch to silver offers a more classic, premium look that many golfers will appreciate. The whole look is sleek, minimal, and polished, with just the right amount of contrast between the head and alignment lines.

To my joy the feel was quintessentially Odyssey. The White Hot insert delivers that familiar softness, while the AI face design ensures that even off-centre strikes feel solid and controlled. I have to say, as first impressions go, the Odyssey Ai-One Double Wide put up a good show.

When it comes to performance, the Ai-One Double Wide also doesn’t fail to disappoint. During testing, I felt the putter was extremely consistent on both short and long putts.
