As stated in my reviews of the standard Redtiger golf rangefinder and mini Redtiger , if you read Redtiger’s Mission and Vision you might think they only operate in the car industry – serving 1 million plus customers in over 70 countries. They have now ventured in the golf industry offering up a selection of golf rangefinders that , consistent with their mission and vision, will look to provide golfers with a reliable, innovative rangefinder that will offer all a golfer would need on the golf course.
I have been fortunate to get my hands on the core and mini Redtiger model and so was intrigued to find out if this was another product offering golfers quality and value. So, let’s dive into my full Redtiger Light-Adaptive Upgraded Laser golf rangefinder review to find out….

First Impressions
I am a big fan of Redtiger and jumped at the chance to review the new GolfVue Series 2. The first thing that struck me about their new offering was the improved grip that makes handling the rangefinder very easy. A user friendly design means that you can intuitively take it straight out of the box and start using it, without reading through pages of instructions.

On-course testing
The GolfVue Series 2 comes with the usual quality carry case that fits easily on your golf bag and also has a magnetic belt clip that can be attached to your belt strap.

There is no need to mess around with batteries as it is charged very quickly via the USB cable provided. As with the other models, the clarity of the lense is very impressive and easily adjusted for your eyesight with a simple turn of the lense for added crispness.

A single touch side button allows you to switch the slope assistance on and off. This is really good for when you are practicing and the bright red light warns you that it is in slope mode, stopping you from getting penalised during competition rounds.

The x7 magnification allows you to locate the target with ease and the vibration confirms your distance as it locks on to the flag. Having played a few rounds with it, the distances are very accurate and you can make your club selection with real certainty.
The rubberised grip makes the rangefinder really easy to handle and means you can lock on to your target with ease.
Having played later in the day, as really nice feature was the display turning red in low light conditions. This made reading the information so much easier and was something that I hadn’t experienced with other products.
NCG Final Verdict
The Redtiger Light-Adaptive Upgraded Laser golf rangefinder has improved what was already a very impressive product.
It is hard to to think of anything that it can’t do alongside some of the more established and more expensive brands.
Every round it gives you confidence in your shot selection and is like having your own caddie attached to your bag. Fantastic value!
