First impressions

As polo shirts go this one out of the packet is plain and simple. The design consists of a block colour with a 5-button placket and a small Puma logo on the left hem. The polo is pretty lightweight and had a soft, silky texture. This comes from its 100% polyester makeup which includes some of Puma’s impressive design technology.

Puma has both their moisture-wicking and dryCell technology in this polo which used microfibers to help control moisture. What this means for the player is that any moisture is channelled to the outer layer of the garment so it dries faster.

On course testing

I really enjoyed wearing this polo out on the course. Due to the current climate, I have mainly worn this with a thermal baselayer underneath. With the fabric being so lightweight it works really well and isn’t at all restrictive.

When it came to washing, the thin polyester fabric combined dryCELL technology meant that it was fast drying. And, as someone who isn’t a fan of ironing, this polo dried almost perfectly crease-free.

The 19th hole

These are great lightweight polo shirts which really can be worn in any setting. The plain colourways add to this diversity and they would be great to create many different outfits with the wide range of colours available.
