Best men’s golf clothes 2020: Adidas

Adidas are the latest brand to join the fight against climate change. Primeblue is a new sustainable collection made in partnership with Parley Ocean Plastic. 

The apparel and footwear is made from upcycled plastic waste which has been removed from remote islands, beaches, coastal communities, and shorelines, preventing it from polluting our ocean. Its then turned into high-performance polyester yarn used in apparel and footwear.

The collection features two polos and shorts for men as well as limited edition footwear made from upcycled plastic waste in new Codechaos silhouette.

Adidas are making a real drive to use more recycled material in their new products. 71% of the apparel from the spring/summer 2020 collection is made from recycled polyester along with 75% of the footwear. By 2024 Adidas are pledging to  convert 100% of our virgin polyester to recycled where possible.

The latest Ping collection is themed around the a tranquil coast colour story with seasonal patterns and prints to create numerous styles for the course. The range features numerous polos and mid-layers as well as the Impact jacket and a new Bennett trouser style.

The designs incorporate Jacquard, a premium knitting technique, to texture the fabrics. Other technologies include sensor cool cotton for softness but also to move moisture from the body keeping you cool and comfortable during your round.

Best men’s golf clothes 2020: Puma

The popular Puma X collection has been updated for 2020 – the range is themed around Rickie Fowler‘s style evolution during his 10-year partnership with Puma and his ability to bring the X-factor.

New Ignite ProAdapt X shoes are a key part of the range and feature gold detailing to honour the coveted gold Players trophy.

The new Puma X collection will debuted by Fowler this week at the Players along with a custom Cobra X Vessel tour bag in the same navy and gold colourway.

Best men’s golf clothes 2020: Galvin Green

There are over 140 new items in Galvin Green’s men’s 2020 apparel line up headed up by the new Apollo waterproof jacket. It is the first model made from Gore-Tex Paclite fabric allowing pockets to be incorporated into the front of the jacket.
