Remote control golf trolleys are far from a niche in today’s game and there aren’t many better than those from Motocaddy
Motocaddy has once again reinforced its position as one of the leading names in hands-free electric golf trolleys with the release of their 2026 models.
Electric trolleys were once considered to be a luxury that not many golfers could afford, now its a challenge not spotting one out on the golf course.
Motocaddy has often been the go-to brand that many golfers have turned to when shopping for their electric golf trolleys.
Equally, remote-control trolleys have grown rapidly in popularity in recent years, and Motocaddy’s latest launch reflects that demand.
Almost half of the brand’s electric trolley sales has come from remote models. Now they have released three new models with the introduction of the of the M7 GPS REMOTE, the M7 REMOTE and the ME REMOTE trolleys.
Here’s a closer look at the how Motocaddy has improved these for 2026…
Motocaddy 2026 Electric Golf Trolleys: The Technology
All three of the new Motocaddy electric golf trolleys feature something called Downhill Control. We have all heard of those horror stories where golfers have lost control of their golf trolleys and they’ve ended up rolling into a pond or water hazard of some kind.
Well, this helps to prevent that as it regulates the speed of the trolley when travelling downhill and automatically applies the brakes when required for better control.
Each model also includes Adaptive Terrain Stability technology. This is also all about helping golfers to stay in control of their golf clubs, whilst providing the ultimate hands-free control across any terrain.
This is a bit of technology that constantly monitors wheel speed and load to adjust the output from the motor in real time.
Elsewhere, all the trolleys use Motocaddy’s CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable-free lithium battery technology. The battery integrates directly into the trolley chassis, automatically disconnects when the trolley is folded and features a pop-up charging port for easier recharging.

The 2026 range also benefits from an updated automotive-inspired design. Motocaddy’s design team used virtual reality, rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development to refine the look, ergonomics and overall usability of the new models.
