A new era of alignment
The standout feature across the Scottsdale TEC putter range is PING’s new Eye-Q alignment technology.
Developed using ‘Quiet Eye’ research – a proven eye-tracking method used in elite sport – Eye-Q introduces a small dot on the top rail. This is paired with extended alignment lines across the top of the putter head.

This combination is designed to give golfers a clear focal point, helping to stabilise their gaze before and during the stroke.
Ping believe that by reducing unnecessary eye movement and locking focus onto a precise point, players can aim more consistently. This will lead to a more controlled putting stroke.
The brand says that this ‘quiet-eye’ effect is critical in helping golfers maintain visual stability at the moment of execution, a key factor in holding more putts.
The technology breakdown
Ping has included an onset hosel design in some of their TEC models. This positions the shaft closer to the centre line, providing a full view of the ball and encouraging a more stable, pulling stroke motion
A slightly softer feel is also a key feature of these new putters. A PEBAX insert is responsible for this as it helps to maintain a strong energy return for consistent distance control.

Each putter is crafted from an 100% milled 6061 aluminium body combined with a 304 stainless steel sole plate. This material choice is designed to increase the MOI and optimise centre of gravity, making them more forgiving.
Perimeter weighting is also included in the make-up of the putter heads. Weight is pushed low and wide to maximise forgiveness and promote a consistent roll.
So, which model is right for you?
A high-MOI mallet designed for straight-arc strokes, the Hayden uses a strong black-and-white colour scheme and a long alignment line to draw focus towards the Eye-Q dot.
It offers a stable, forgiving platform with a soft, consistent feel.

For you blade lovers, the Ally Blue Onset is your best bet. It combines the forgiveness of a mallet with the visual simplicity of a blade.
The onset hosel positions the shaft behind the face, giving it a clean view of the ball and enhancing alignment.

One that may be the most spotted on tour over the next season or so is the Ketsch Onset putter. It is a tour-proven design that has been reimagined with Eye-Q technology.
The Ketsch Onset features multiple alignment lines and best fits a slightly arcing stroke. It delivers high stability with a confidence-inspiring profile.
Also aimed at golfers with a slight arc in their putting stroke is the Ally Blue H. The clean look at address aims to complement the alignment system for improved accuracy.
The Ketsch 4 accommodates for a more pronounced arc. It incorporates a greater toe hang through its Anser 4-style hosel.

Multiple alignment lines work alongside Eye-Q to make aiming easier for players who release the toe more through impact.
