These new releases are mallet putters and are joined by left-handed set ups of the Phantom 5, Phantom 11 and Phantom 11 Long Design models for the first time. Let’s take a closer look at the tech across the range…

The Technology

As well as featuring the popular wingback Phantom 5 and Phantom 7 mallet head shapes the all-new Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.2 and 7.2 putters are constructed to include an I-beam-style plumbing neck. This helps players with a more suitable alignment benefits and alternative toe flow properties.

The plumbing neck is a confidence-inspiring look for a lot of players and Scotty Cameron believe it is the natural evolution for the putters. Using the Phantom mallet head and this neck type has proved to be a popular combination on tour with the likes of Justin Thomas and Cameron Young putting this set up into play. This promotes a blade-like feel but with the forgiveness of a mallet head.
