Cobra have introduced new technologies to make the DS-Adapt fairways and hybrids the most fittable clubs yet. No matter your ball flight, handicap or ball striking ability there is a club for you in this range.

What fairways and hybrids will be suit you? Let’s take a deep dive to find out…

Cobra DS-Adapt Fairways and Hybrids: The Technology

Cobra have included the same innovative technologies in their fairway metals as what’s evident in their driver line-up. These technologies include the brand’s all-new hosel system appropriately named FutureFit33.

This system is designed to help golfers achieve an optimised ball flight, whether that is a baby fade or a high draw, your game will be covered. For club golfers, metal woods can often feel as though they are working against our swing but this latest innovation will look to help eradicate that feeling.

In total, there are 33 unique settings that the woods can be set into. The hosel allows the golfer to adjust the loft, by a maximum of +2 or -2, and lie angle of the club. Both of which can be altered independent of each other.

Ultimately, the 33 different loft & lie combinations allows players to adjust their control. Whether that be consistency of shots in terms of length, ball flight or launch golfers will be able to have confidence in their metal woods. FutureFit33 technology enables Cobra to hit the front for industry-leading fitting options and helps to make the process a breeze.

Both the fairway woods and the hybrids have updated PWR-BRIDGE technology. The new PWR-BRIDGE weighting is placed forward in the club face of the woods for low spin and more ball speed. Having a lower spinning metal will help to enhance the distance on offer for more optimised strikes.

As you would commonly see of most drivers and metals, the Cobra DS-Adapt range incorporate an adaptive weighting system. Golfers will be able to adjust their clubs for added or reduced forgiveness, launch angle, and spin.

Other technological inclusions are Cobra’s Smarted technology which is a sole geometry design that ensures the club face remains square at address irrespective of the loft or lie angle setting. This will help to deliver a cleaner strike and avoid any slices or hooks.

The woods have been crafted from a carbon crown, which is lighter, to help increase club and ball speed. Insert into the carbon crown is a forged face insert with H.O.T. Face Technology to deliver a higher CT around the center of the hitting area. This delivers enhanced distance and ball speeds, particularly on off-center strikes. Allowing the clubs to be more playable for all golfers.
