Wilson DYNAPWR Forged Irons: The Technology
First up is Wilson’s PKR‑CUP face design which has been a constant within all of the models within the Dynapwr range. It is designed to wrap the face material onto the sole of the club, so that it creates a thinner, more flexible hinge region.
In turn, this will then increase the ball speed across the face, as well as the performance on low‑face strikes and promoting a higher launch where many golfers struggle.
Wilson states this design also moves the weld line away from the ball striking area, which essentially means, both you and I, will be able to access more forgiveness and better consistency.
A slight change to the design of these Dynapwr irons from the previous models is that the power holes have been removed o allow the face to flex a bit more efficiently.
It also helps to deliver an improved feel and sound. Wilson has also used AI simulation to optimise the club face thickness to enhance flex and energy transfer at impact.
It is believed this will help to unlock faster ball speeds and strong distance numbers, without losing the precision better players demand.

Wilson DYNAPWR Forged Irons: A Closer Look
Performance wise, these irons are designed to promote fast ball speeds, a consistent launch, a forged feel and plenty of forgiveness without that bulky feel.
They are very much a modern interpretation of a forged players iron, prioritising speed and stability while retaining workability.
Despite the compact appearance, the DYNAPWR Forged irons feature a high MOI and lowered centre of gravity.
