After 12 months of testing it’s finally time to reveal the winners of the NCG Equipment Awards for the year. We’ll be revealing our winners across nine categories between now and the new year – so let’s get on with it. Here are the best hybrids 2019 had to offer.
NCG Equipment Awards: Best Hybrids 2019
Most powerful: TaylorMade M6
This hybrid generates some series ball speed I was seeing an extra 10 yards from my existing hybrids. I also found them to have a slight draw bias which would be beneficial for people trying to tame a slice.
Most forgiving: Ping G410
I have always been a lover of Ping hybrids and this didn’t disappoint. As always it provided lots of confidence over the ball and was extremely forgiving on off-centre strikes.

Best overall: Titleist TS2
The classic rounded shaping of this club really suited my eye. It was great to see that even though Titleist have added technology to increase ball speed we haven’t lost any accuracy.
