Struggling to control your spin? Or can’t quite get the ball airborne? Fujikura believe they have the answer to your problems with the latest Ventus TR shaft release.
The Ventus range is already one of the most played on tour. Now it has been expanded to become even more versatile.
For 2026, the new TR Black and TR Red options are built to give players precise control over ball flight. Whether that means flattening it down or sending it skyward.
Building on the momentum of the recently introduced TR Blue, the latest additions aim to deliver even greater stability and consistency.
So, how have they achieved this? Here’s a closer look at the technology behind Fujikura’s latest release.

What’s new?
At the heart of both new shafts is Fujikura’s enhanced VeloCore+ technology, combined with its Spread Tow carbon fabric.
Fujikura believes this combination results in increased stability throughout the shaft. These are actually the most stability shafts they have produced to date and this is particularly apparent during more aggressive transitions.

Using the company’s enso 3D motion capture system, engineers were able to analyse real swing data to refine the profiles.
This helped them to design shafts that are suitable for both ends of the ball flight spectrum.
According to Fujikura, the performance gains are tangible. Testing showed improvements in centred contact, alongside gains in club head and ball speed for many players.
Which one is right for you?
The new TR range has been engineered to offer distinct performance benefits. They have been carefully tuned to suit different swing characteristics.
The Ventus TR Red is designed to promote a mid-to-high launch with added spin, making it a strong option for players who need help getting the ball airborne and maximising carry.

Compared to the TR Black shaft it has a softer mid and tip section for an easier launch and increased spin.

The Ventus TR Black is targeted at faster swinger. It is designed to deliver a low launch and low spin profile for a more penetrating ball flight.
It feels considerably stiffer across the whole shaft. Like with all stiff shafts, those with high-speed swing speeds will benefit from this more.
