Available at an affordable price, the Tour Response has been a great option for club golfers who require some performance from their golf ball for a number of years.
TaylorMade believe they have unlocked another level of performance from the technological advances they have included in the new Tour Response golf balls. So, let’s take a look at what they are…
TaylorMade Tour Response Golf Balls: The Technology
Golf manufacturers have Research and Development teams who spend years perfecting a certain product feature. This is evident in the Speed Wrapped Core Technology which is now prominent in the Tour Response balls after TaylorMade spent years perfecting it in the TP5 and TP5x.
The Speed Wrapped Core Technology helps to dampen the sound and enables a faster construction for quicker ball speeds and more distance. Using these Tour tested materials and with a compression of 70, Tour Response balls give golfers exceptionally soft feel.
Also taken from the TP series is TaylorMade’s Tour Flight Dimple Pattern. The pattern is designed to deliver shots that come off the face fast, carry, and remain stable in the wind.

A new SpeedMantle™with High-Flex Material surrounds the core technology. As a result golfers will be able to command more interaction between the golf ball and the club face to further enhance the ball speed and soft feel.
All in all, the three-piece construction is designed to supply strong distances with longer clubs but also provide plenty of spin, feel and control for short approach shots.

Many golfers are on the hunt for more green side spin and control to bring that handicap down. Fortunately for us, TaylorMade believe they have equipped these golf balls with Tour-level spin from a 100% cast urethane cover. This soft material allows the grooves of wedges o grip the ball whilst maintaining durability.

Visually the new TaylorMade Tour Response Stripe golf balls are now available in brighter and more alignment friendly colours. They are now equipped with a new Hi-Vis 360° ClearPath alignment which is a 22mm stripe that wraps around the centre of the golf ball to help golfers aim putts better, faster and more consistently.

This adjustment also provides golfers with a more instant feedback on the quality of the roll of the putts. Additionally, TaylorMade has incorporated the first-of-its-kind, in golf, neon digital ink into the Tour Response Stripe golf balls. The ink works to make the alignment aide more vibrant.
