I love the pure teal colour and the fact is sort of has a retro football jacket style to it. You know the old training, zipless ones the likes of Rooney and Ronaldinho used to wear. The design really is one of my favourites from any brand this year and I’d definitely wear this away from the course, to a football match or down the shops. It looks mega.
As far as performance goes. The fit is ideal and with the cuffed sleeves, it doesn’t get in the way of gripping the golf club. A real five out of five golf jumper this.

A modern looking polo in a ‘powdered plum’ colourway which admittedly looks quite bold taking it out of the packet but looks smart and doesn’t feel over the top wearing it out on the course. I am never a fan of garments that splash their logos into any free space, so this is ticks my box, a simple classic 3 striped Adidas logo on the front left chest keeps the polo looking subtle and smart.
The Go-To rise feels great to wear, extremely lightweight without feeling baggy or too tight which makes for a comfortable day on the course. The price point is ideal, available for only £45 which feels suitable for the quality of material, style and of course wearing a brand like Adidas. Not just for golf but for casual wear as well, they seem to be my go-to, ironically, at the moment.
There are a few great options on the market, but you’ll do well to find a better one than this. The colour looks great, especially this time of year, and it feels great. I prefer my jacket, jumpers and windbreakers to be thin and lightweight. This is exactly that. It offers no interruption to your swing whatsoever.

A gilet feels like it should be a staple for any golfer looking to get out on the cooler days thanks to the fact your arms are completely free so this is well worth considering. The design of this gilet is really smart, it’s available in two colourways with one piece of adidas branding to give it a clean finish. Considering the lightweight nature of the garment, it is surprisingly warm and comfortable thanks to the lightweight insulation packed into either side of the middle zip on the front of the product. I’ll be sure to be getting plenty of usage out of this on the golf course as the cooler days approach as well using it in off course thanks to the ‘non-technical’ style of it. It is positioned on the more expensive side for a gilet but you can’t argue with the quality or look of it.

I’m personally not a big fan of wearing rain gloves, I tend to just wear my golf glove and that’s it. But I have to say, these Adidas ones are probably the best I’ve tried to date. They are a really great fit and Adidas have included some cool technology and patterning on the palm of the gloves to allow for a better grip. Some of you may be put of by the design and that is understandable. But, for me, I’m okay with and the writing along the wrists is kind of a cool and edgy look that I can get behind. If you can’t see yourself rocking them on the golf course, then they are perfectly suitable for wearing whilst walking the dog or for any other physical activity when there’s a chill in the air.
I was genuinely pleased to review this golf bucket hat, especially as I’m approaching 50 and items such as this seem to suit my present day mid life needs – both on and off the course.
Off the course, it’s great for rainy days, stopping rain from dripping into my glasses while watching the kids from the sporting touchline.
