Celebrities and golf are a match made in heaven.
It’s a chance to see some of the world’s most glamorous stars looking dishevelled as they shank, hack and chunk their way round a golf course.
So, as the Pebble Beach Pro-Am hits our screens, it got us thinking about the world of celebrity golfers. What great moments involving celebrities on a golf course have their been down the years?

“Bro, why would you do that?”
Avid golfer Justin Timberlake received a little bit too much encouragement from one fan at the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe in 2016. The drunk yob slapped (well, it looked more of a stroke) the American singer/actor as he walked past a group of star-struck spectators.
Timberlake and his entourage stopped in their tracks as Timberlake bellowed: “Bro, why would you do that?” To his credit, Timberlake refused to press charges.

One Direction heartthrob Niall Horan sent social media into meltdown for tripping over on live TV.
The keen golfer was caddying for Rory Mcllory at the Par 3 contest at Augusta National in 2015 when he slipped in front of the camera. The 1D star’s little stumble made headlines across the globe – sigh, really?!

Bill Murray loves golf. He also loves entertaining golf fans. Every year at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am spectators wait with bated breath to see what antics he has store for them.
In 2016, a fan delivered a beer to the Caddyshack star on the 14th hole and the 2011 Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner duly chugged the beverage down in the middle of his round.
