The moment Harrington accidentally let slip one of his Ryder Cup vice-captains on live TV
There’s been a lot of chat about the Ryder Cup. Should it be played at all this year? Should it be played behind closed doors? Should it be played with 24 captain’s picks?
As it stands the plan is to go ahead and European captain Padraig Harrington was on Sky Sports’ The Golf Show on Tuesday to discuss how he is preparing for September’s showdown when he accidentally let slip one of his vice-captains for Whistling Straits.

And no offence to World No 1,083 Luke Joy – yes, he really is the next European in the official golf ranking – but we think Harrington might be referring to Mr Donald.
Later that evening, the news was confirmed.
