All 24 players at this years Ryder Cup will be ditching their normal attire for official team wear.
Apart from their shoes.
The Ryder Cup has traditionally offered brands the chance to show off new models and special limited edition styles.
So which brands can we expect to see on show in Paris this week? Here’s a breakdown with the numbers of players for each…
Nike: 10
Adidas: 5
FootJoy: 4
Puma: 2
G/Fore: 2
Under Armour: 1
And we won’t forget about European Captain Thomas Bjorn who is an Ecco ambassador…
But let’s take a look at what the players will be wearing and which models you can get your hands on…
Under Armour
Jordan Spieth will be the only player at the 2018 Ryder Cup wearing Under Armour shoes.
“Most of the time you’re competing against these guys, so it’s really fun to come together as teammates,” said Spieth.
“That camaraderie is part of what makes watching team sports so electrifying, and for golf to have a ‘team-sport’ moment like this is really special.”
So it’s no surprise to see that there is a special Spieth 2 Ryder Cup edition to mark the event.

FootJoy
As overwhelming market leaders we will be seeing a few players on both teams sporting FJ shoes at Le Golf National…
Henrik Stenson, Ian Poulter will be wearing Icons and Pro SL respectively for Team Europe while Webb Simpson and Justin Thomas will both be staying classy with Icons.
Look out for the vice-captains too with Padraig Harrington, Zach Johnson and Steve Stricker all likely to be representing the brand.
