A new year has brought a new Jason Day.
The Australian revealed he signed a clothing deal with Malbon Golf back in January.
The former PGA Champion posed for pictures in his new apparel in images posted to X/Twitter.
“It’s a new Day. Excited to be joining #teammalbon,” Day wrote online ahead of competing in The Sentry in Hawaii.
This announcement marked the end of Day’s tenure with Nike Golf which began in 2016.
He reportedly signed a deal worth $10 million a year, including wearing Nike shoes, clothing and a hat. This deal was signed shortly after Nike ended its equipment rollout.
Day became Malbon’s first PGA Tour ambassador, seven years after its inception.
The brand was founded by Stephen and Erica Malbon in 2017 and aims to “provide quality products, tell stories, and invite customers to take part in the community of like-minded thinkers that we have created.
“The brand is fueled by meticulous and tasteful customers who have a passion for golf as well as expressing themselves through what they wear,” as per the website.
Day has stunned golf fans with a new Malbon sweater on day two of the Masters. The Australian is certainly standing out on the famous Georgia fairways.
