Best drivers 2019: Callaway Epic Flash and Epic Flash Sub Zero
It’s pretty evident where the Epic Flash gets its name from. The driver features Flash Face which has variable thickness and aims to offer better ball speeds. It is thinner in the middle which means if you catch a drive out the middle then you will add some serious distance.
Both the Epic Flash and Epic Sub Zero have Jailbreak technology and with extensive computer testing, Callaway say they have managed 1.5mph extra ball speed.
The reason for extra ball speed is that the face allows the face to take more load at impact thanks to the two titanium bars that connect the crown and sole.
They’ve also managed to save enough weight to add a moveable weight on the rear of the sole of both drivers.
