How would you like to be a lifetime member of one of the world’s oldest clubs – a links with views to drool over?

Fortrose & Rosemarkie Golf Club, near Inverness, go all the way back to 1793 and were just the 15th recorded club to start playing the game.

The course, ranked 54th in NCG Top 100s Scotland and 33rd in the Top 100s Fun list, has glorious views of the Chanonry Peninsula and the Moray Firth, with both cliff tops and water prominent.

Now, for £3,000, anyone overseas or who lives further than 50 miles from the club can join as life members.

Aside from having full playing rights for the rest of your days, anyone who takes up the offer will also be able to take advantage of a whole range of other benefits, including:

  • Playing up to 12 other reciprocal courses at discounted prices and becoming a member of the Association of James Braid Courses for additional discounts at up to 300 others
  • A Free club tie, gold bag tag, logoed golf shirt and headcover, free ball tokens and a free 2-course meal for you and a guest in the Chanterelle Restaurant
  • Free lesson with a PGA pro, free use of golf buggies when playing the links and a free commemorative limited edition bottle of single malt whiskey (with the 1793 club logo)
