Top 10 favourite resort-casino golf courses

Summary

A weekend getaway at a resort is appealing for many people and the more activities it provides, the better, especially if our favourite one is among them. Just the thought of a golf morning, lunching at one of the best restaurants in the resort, going for a spa treatment in the afternoon, and spinning the reels in the casino at night could make for a perfect day.

And if you love casino gaming as much as you love golf, you may have both at the same time.

There are many golf-inspired slot machines you can try, such as Gold Trophy 2, Golf Tour, Hole in One or Golden Tour. They are already awesome, but to make them even better, get a casino promotion from KingCasinoBonus and significantly increase your winning chances right from the start!

We have gathered 10 award-winning casino resorts, with the best sceneries and amenities, that will turn any thought into reality in a flash.

Shadow Creek

The renowned architect Tom Fazio turned this part of Nevada desert into the masterpiece it is today, and still remains on top, after almost 29 years of experience.

Two golf legends, Tiger and Phil took part in the match challenge on Thanksgiving, for a prize of $9 million. To enter Shadow Creek, you have to register as a guest of MGM Resorts International.

For your appointment, you will be transported with a private limousine and have your personal caddie guide you through an unforgettable golf experience.

Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course

At a very quick drive from many hotels, behind of many casinos, along the glimmering waters, right in the heart of Lake Tahoe, you will find Edgewood.

This place, rated among top golf courses, was designed by George Fazio, back when his nephew Tom Fazio was an apprentice, working for him.

It’s known that their work is unique, and so is this golf course, with holes that will have you shoot towards the lake and the snowy mountains beyond it, while other holes will make you feel like you are in the middle of the forest, or have great views of Tahoe main casino strip.

Even non-golfers are attracted to this place!

Fallsview Casino Resort

Built at a cost of $1 billion, Fallsview is the largest investment that the government of Ontario has made in the Niagara Region, built on a 23-acre site, overlooking the Horseshoe and American Falls.

Fallen Oak

Also designed by Tom Fazio, it couldn’t be less than amazing. It is rated as the second-best casino golf course in the US, after Shadow Creek, and the best one from Mississippi. Even though Fallen Oak was built from scratch, Tom Fazio made it look as if the place was always that way and only a few improvements were made.

The scenery feels like a bygone Southern era, with the Spanish moss- dripping trees, wooded setting of towering oaks, magnolias and pecans, the extreme scalloped sand traps, and sparkling ponds, makes this place unique and worthy for a visit at least once in a lifetime.

The Greenbrier (Old White)

Opened in 1913, the Old White was the first of three 18-hole courses, designed by Charles Blair Macdonald. Seth Raynor made some modifications to the layout 10 years after its debut, as the guests claimed the difficulty was way too high. Later, the architect Lester George conducted a vast renewal program that was finished in 2006. The Greenbrier course won many ‘best remodel’ awards from golf magazines.

In 2010, FedExCup competition on the PGA tour was held there during which Stuart Appleby shot an unbelievable 59, by one shot, scoring 22 under par for the competition.
