Slingsby Golf Academy announces winner to compete in star-studded pro-am at Wentworth
The Slingsby Golf Academy is back for a second series!
To celebrate their partnership with the BMW PGA Championship, Slingsby Gin have recruited four new complete beginners and given them six months to master the game.
The winner will tee up at Wentworth in the star-studded celebrity pro-am ahead of the DP World Tour’s flagship event.
Last year, the Slingsby Golf Academy saw Helen Skelton, Fleur East, Natalie Pinkham and Bela Shah set out to encourage and inspire more females to take to up the sport this summer while championing the social side of the game.
Fast forward to 2022 and they’re back with another world-class line up of celebrities, including Olympic equestrian Zara Tindall, tennis coach Judy Murray, TV GP Dr Zoe Williams, and Sky Sports’ lead boxing presenter Anna Woolhouse.
You can follow the four new recruits on Slingsby’s official social media and YouTube channels as they embark on their golf journey with the help of mentor and professional golfer Inci Mehmet and Slingsby’s brand new host, Anton du Beke.
The BMW PGA Championship will take place over Wentworth’s West course from September 8-11, with a prize pot of more than £5 million.
