Golf equipment: Nike launch junior VR_S Covert line
5 Nike have catered for those looking to follow in the footsteps of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods by releasing a set aimed at junior players.
The two Ryder Cup stars started the game as toddlers and by the time they were into double figures their handicaps were single figures.
Nike are giving youngsters the chance to emulate the pair with the introduction of the junior VR_S Covert line, which features the same looks, feel and red colour as the clubs used by both Rory and Tiger on the PGA Tour.
They come in two different sizes and with uniflex shafts. They are designed to promote proper swing fundamentals through ideal length, weight and aerodynamic design. Both sets include a lightweight bag.
The Size 1 set features a driver, 7-iron, sand wedge and putter. The Size 2 set adds a hybrid and 9-iron to the bag.
