The Belfry
Anyone who has recently visited The Belfry will be aware of the impressive changes taking place. A £26million investment has led to every aspect of the hotel being upgraded, sometimes beyond recognition. You’ll find airy and modern public spaces; the Brabazon bar is opulently glamorous in jade green and chrome, the Ryder Grill restaurant is stylish and sophisticated in Farrow and Ball hues. The final piece of the puzzle will fall into place at the start of June, when the brand new Belfry Spa opens and will, for the first time, be under the same management as the hotel. This can only be a good thing for those wanting to combine golf and spa, or for couples with separate ideas on how to relax. The hotel will be able to offer packages with something for everyone.
The Spa already features impressive facilities; cosy treatment rooms and skilled therapists, a well-equipped gym and light-filled pool. The Fire & Ice experience is a 90-minute journey through tropical rain showers, steam rooms, sauna, ice buckets and igloo, plus a muscle-soothing hydrotherapy pool.
Bearing in mind the success of the changes so far, we say watch this space for news on what is sure to be an impressive new spa facility and great addition to a much-loved resort.
