Betting tips: Who wins the Nedbank Challenge?
The winner: Tyrrell Hatton (28/1)
The main attraction in South Africa this week is Open Champion Henrik Stenson, who seems the safe bet at 4/1. It doesn’t seem to appetising though with some in-form players in the field this year.
Tyrrell Hatton- It’s been a great year for the young Englishman, three top-10’s in October including a win at the Alfred Dunhill Links makes him a good choice at 28/1.
Hatton finished tied 10th at last weeks Turkish Airlines Open and for some reason I quite fancy him this week.
The each-way back: Richard Bland (8/1)
What a brilliant couple of months Richard Bland has had. He has had seven top-20 finishes in his last eight tournaments, including four top-10’s.
His time must surely be coming to win on the European Tour, so why not here at the Nedbank. We’d all love to see it and at 8/1 for a place in the top 5 I quite fancy him to achieve that.
If you are feeling the love for Blandy this week and see him lifting the trophy, you can get him at 45/1.
The dark horse: Pablo Larrazabal (80/1)
At last weeks Turkish Airlines Open the Spaniard finished with four birdies out of his last six holes to finish in 8th place on 12-under par.
His form hasn’t been great in the last few months but hopefully a top-10 in Turkey sees the start of a change in fortunes for the Spaniard.
At 80/1 Larrazabal is making his debut at the Nedbank but something is telling me he may be in for a good week at Sun City.
