Tantric golf? Let’s just have some fun, Jason
You may remember from last week’s Phoenix Open when this happened…

Now – are you sitting down? The star of this show, Adam Stalmach says alcohol may have played a role in his rise to stardom as the Scottsdale Streaker.
“I definitely wouldn’t have done it if I was sober,” he said. And how many times have you said that to the police? Or your mum/dad/girlfriend/dog?

The stunt saw Stalmach spend five days in jail, cost him $1,500 in fines AND his job as a barman.
“I definitely wouldn’t do it again,” he added. “But yeah, as long as people got a kick out of it, it was worth it.”
The worst part of this sorry tale, though? All he’d drank was eight glasses of Coors Light.
Anyway, the NCG lawyers have informed me that we are no longer allowed to tease Americans about their inability to handle their beer, so we’ll move on…
Tantric golf
From everyone’s favourite PGA Tour event to everyone’s favourite PGA Tour event – depending on who you listen to – as the players swap Arizona for California and beer-swigging fans for celebrity playing partners.
Yes, it’s the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, the one week of the year where we see Bill Murray not being amazing in movies and realise he is actually a bit of a prat.
But it’s Jason Day’s comments that are most concerning…
JDay on facing 6+ hour rounds this week @attproam: "It's good…you can take your time, take more time than you would have. You don't feel like you're rushed." pic.twitter.com/MHTetgBT35

Six hours! We’ve already had our say on how long a round should take, but if I tee off at 9am on a Saturday, by 3pm I expect to have played 18, got home, showered, had lunch, and enjoyed the lunchtime kick-off in the football.
Eddie Pepperrell summed it up rather nicely in a tweet that is for adult eyes only…
I just don’t get this ??♂️ 5 hour rounds are interminable, let alone 6. I’d say this is tantamount to masturbation, once again. The longer it goes on it just gets downright bloody boring. Get it over with Jason. Sod the 6 hours of tantric golf let’s have some fucking fun. https://t.co/mBot1FSaLQ

Romoaners
And retired Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been offered a sponsor exemption for the PGA Tour’s Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship.
As usual, a lot of people are up in arms about it. “He’s taking a spot from a player trying to make a career in golf!” they cry.
Well, he’s not. And if he’s getting more much-needed eyes on golf then I’m all in.
What you should be getting annoyed about is that he is remarkably talented at both American football and golf, while you struggle to break 90 week in week out.
The look of a champion
I’m starting to think Fowler will never get it done in the majors
Does the PGA Tour play-off system need an overhaul?
