Scottie Scheffler had a meteoric rise in 2022, winning four times on the PGA Tour and claiming a coveted Green Jacket at the Masters.
He has established himself as the best player in the world and the one everyone needs to beat. He has won The Players Championship twice and the Arnold Palmer Invitational twice.
By his side during all this success has been Meredith Scudder, Scheffler’s wife whom he married in 2020 after a six-year relationship.

Who is Scottie Scheffler’s wife Meredith Scudder?
Meredith Scudder was born in May 1996 in Texas, USA. Raised by her mother Michelle Scudder and father Mark Scudder, Meredith grew up with two siblings – a brother named Andrew and a sister called Stephanie.
A Texas native through and through, Meredith went to Providence Christian School as a child before attending Highland Park High School until 2014. It was here she would meet her future husband before attending Texas A&M University as a communication major, securing her bachelor’s degree in 2018.
Scudder has since worked as a university counsellor, event planner and humanitarian organiser. She is now the co-founder of a company which supports the lives of cancer victims.

How did they meet?
High school sweethearts Scottie and Meredith met while attending Highland Park High School in Texas. Despite studying at rival universities, with Scheffler attending the University of Texas and Scudder at Texas A&M, the pair maintained their long-distance relationship and regularly visited one another on campus.
In June 2020, Scheffler popped the question to Scudder whilst out hiking at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Texas.
When did they get married?
Scottie and Meredith were married at a Winter Wonderland-themed wedding in December 2020. The service took place at Arlington Hall in Dallas.
Do they have any children?
The couple do not yet have any children.

When Scheffler was asked how he was going to spend his Saturday night ahead of the final round of the 2022 Masters, the PGA Tour rookie of the year said he was probably just going to grab some takeout and watch The Office with Meredith. “We’re about halfway through season four,” he said. “It’s about as relatable as any of us will get to one of the finest golfers on the planet right now.”
