Drivers
Ai is one of Callaway’s superpowers when designing new equipment. It has brought us technologies such as Jailbreak, Flash Cup Face, and Ai-Optimised Club Faces. For 2024, Callaway has combined this with in-person player testing to drive the design of their latest drivers.
The all-new Ai Smart Face uses swing dynamics data from thousands of real golfers to make the supercomputer Ai technology even more accurate. Swing speed, club delivery and face orientation just before impact have been fed into the computer to give it more information on how golfers present the golf club at impact and how the driver needs to perform to boost the performance of real golfers.
The final face design is different in every driver’s head to provide different styles of golfers with the best performance for their game. Micro deflections across the club face help to optimise launch and spin on off-centre strikes. This means there is effectively no longer one central sweet spot but instead numerous hot spots across the face. The result? A club face that promotes optimal launch conditions and tighter downrange dispersion.
The overall structure of the driver’s head has also been improved. A 360° carbon chassis holds together the overall structure, and this now features an internal titanium support structure, allowing the rest of the carbon to be made 15% lighter. These weight savings have allowed mass redistribution to improve launch conditions and add forgiveness.
Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max Driver
The AI Smoke Max driver is the main model in the 2024 line-up and is likely to suit a wide variety of golfers. It features a forgiving shape and is slightly larger than the standard Paradym driver head we saw in 2023. It has adjustable perimeter weighting for up to 19 yards of shot shape correction.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max D Driver
The Max D model is designed to have the highest MOI in the Ai Smoke range. This means it is the most forgiving on off-centre strikes, so it should help your toe and heel strikes stay on or nearer to the fairway. This has a larger, more stretched profile at the address for confidence and optimal mass distribution. This is best suited for players looking to hit a draw or straighten out a slice.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond Driver
Callaway’s Triple Diamond Driver head has to be one of the best-looking driver heads on the market. It is designed to be a workable model for better players. It has a neutral-to-fade biased face progression to help with workability off the tee.
It is designed to promote more ball speed and reduce spin. A 14-gram sole weight can be moved from the rear to front to dial in spin and launch conditions.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max Fast Driver
The Max Fast model is all about easy launch. If you want to hit the ball higher, this could be a perfect fit thanks to the fixed hosel and heavy back weight.
The whole driver has a more lightweight build as is perfect for slower-swing-speed players or golfers who want easy-to-swing performance.

Fairway Woods
The Ai Smart Face technology follows through into the fairway wood line-up with launch and spin optimise across the face following real player data collection.
The Carbon Chassis, which holds the club head together, has been redesigned to allow weight to be used more optimally. In total 24 grams of weight has been repositioned throughout the head. 12g is placed low-forward to enhance launch and spin, and 12g at the back for increased forgiveness.
The club head also features a tungsten speed cartridge, which brings more weight and the centre of gravity of the club, low and forward. This creates a more optimal launch and spin for maximum carry distance.
Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max Fairway Wood
The Ai Smoke Max fairway wood is the natural choice for players who want a consistent launch with a neutral ball flight. An adjustable hosel in the 3 and 3HL models will give players the most options to dial in loft and shot shape.

The Max D fairway wood has a more upright lie angle and specific weighting to help create a draw-bias ball flight. A forgiving shape and back weighting help with higher launch and ease of use. The 3-wood head features an adjustable hosel to allow players to dial in their ball flight even more.

The Triple Diamond is specifically designed for the better player looking for a fairway wood that will give them a lower, more penetrating ball flight. This is delivered via a steel sole and forward-weight screw. An adjustable hosel allows players to dial in their ball flight further.

Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Max Fast Fairway Wood
This is the lightest fairway wood in the Ai Smoke family and is designed for golfers who want a forgiving shape that is exceptionally easy to launch and has some draw bias. It has lighter components, a bonded hosel and a lighter grip to optimise launch and spin for players with slower swing speeds.

Hybrids
Unsurprisingly, the Ai Smart Face is back, allowing each hybrid model and loft to have its own unique face to enhance performance. This face uses real player data and advanced machine learning to create a series of sweet spots all over the face.
A tungsten speed cartridge provides exceptional distance by moving the centre of gravity low and forward to reduce spin and drive up ball speeds.
Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Hybrid
The Ai Smoke hybrid has the most contemporary design suited to the more modern golfer. The overall profile is slightly larger, driving up forgiveness and giving players more confidence at address. A more pronounced sole camber allowed for better turf interaction for more consistent contact.
This model is designed for mid to high-swing speed players who are looking to maximise distance but also tighten their dispersion into the greens.

Irons
In the iron line, Callaway wanted to balance distance, control and precision. The new Ai Smart Face design creates a face that promotes maximum distance and tight dispersion. Due to the face improvements, the mid and long iron shafts can be made a 1/4 inch longer and deliver more distance without affecting dispersion.
Across the range, we see a dynamic sole design that improves turf interaction. The leading edge is pre-worn so it can cut through the turf more efficiently for crisp contact.
Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Irons
The Ai Smoke irons are best suited for players with mid to high swing speeds who want to maximise distance and improve dispersion. This model has the smallest blade lengths, thinner toplines and optimised sole widths to create a forgiving but streamlined look over the ball. These are hollow body construction irons which have been designed to look sleeker and more sophisticated.
