Tiger Woods added another milestone this week to the growing list of low points in his faltering career.

The former World No. 1 cancelled a scheduled press conference ahead of the Genesis Open, which is hosted by his foundation, because of his recurring back spasms. (Yes, his back is so bad he couldn’t even sit down and talk…)

This latest setback represents another false dawn in Woods’ attempts to resurrect his career after long periods on the sidelines due to injury. Woods continues to be the focus of worldwide headlines despite sitting 693rd in the world rankings and not winning a tournament since 2013.
