The Masters: Final round tee times and pairings

News & Tour

It's still Spieth's to lose but there are four Major Champions in the final three groups

Leaderboard

Spieth -16
Rose -12

Mickelson -11
Hoffman – 10

McIlroy -6
Woods -6

Jordan Spieth will be joined by Justin Rose in what has the potential to be a thrilling final round at the 2015 Masters. Although Spieth will be hoping for a little less excitement than most.

Just looking through Sunday’s final pairings is enough to whet the appetite of not just golf but all sports fans.

Rose’s brilliant back nine on Saturday sees him chasing down a four point gap – the same margin by which Rory McIlroy lead in 2011 – a tournament eventually won by Charl Scwartzel after a McIlroy meltdown.

American’s Charley Hoffman and Phil Mickelson are five and six shots back but if anything could give Spieth the jitters it’s a “Mickelson roar” from the crown as the three-time winner starts to advance.

The third-last group isn’t a bad one either – Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods. Not many people expected Woods to make the cut, let alone be playing alongside the world number one on Sunday with an outside chance of victory.

Whatever happens from here – Woods has proved that he’s not a spent force and is capable of competing on the biggest stage once more.

Ian Poulter and Paul Casey complete the British challenge at -4 and -5, the will be hoping to inspire each other to their best Masters finishes rather than the Green Jacket.
