England: Top disabled golfers return to Burhill
The BGL Final Race to Burhill was contested by 15 finalists from the six BGL events held across the country throughout the season.
The closely-fought final was arranged in partnership with the Disabled Golf Association and saw Kevin White of Berkshire take first place with 35 Stableford points.
Finalists qualified after finishing within the top three at events, which took place across the country, and Sue Robertson, director at the Disabled Golf Association, said: “Each BGL venue has something extra to offer. We have confidence in hosting an event for disabled and impaired golfers at any of BGL’s venues. Not only will the quality of the golf be superb, with a diversity of playing options, but everything about visiting a BGL venue makes the event run smoothly.”
Second place in the tournament was secured by Cornwall’s Ben Bown, while Bobby David of Berkshire came in third on countback.
