Golf equipment: Cobra Baffler XL range released
5 Cobra have launched a full range of equipment that carries the famous Baffler name.
The Baffler XL line is characterised by extreme forgiveness, lots of distance and sharp aesthetics.
The Baffler XL driver features offset and an oversized face for maximum moment of inertia and forgiveness on mis-hits. E9 face technology provides a powerful hitting area for more ball speed, while a low centre of gravity increases launch angle for more carry.
The fairway wood of the same name, Cobra say, is their most forgiving fairway ever.
It has a shallow face to boost confidence from tight lies, rails on the sole to improve interaction with turf for a cleaner striker, and tungsten weights that offer more forgiveness on mis-hits.
The hybrid features much of the same technology as the fairway wood, including the shallow face and rails for better contact. It comes in a wide variety of lofts, including a 31˚ model that can replace a 7-iron for those so inclined.
The Baffler XL iron set, available in a hybrid-iron combination set at extra cost, is extremely easy to hit thanks to the large faces and extra wide soles.
