Bridlington Golf Club, or Belvedere as it is often called, was founded in 1905 and is situated towards the south of the town boasting magnificent views over the bay.

The course itself is an easy walking, 6638-yard layout which contains some of the finest greens in the area.

In recent years the fairways have been made tighter and the irrigation has been improved by the planting of some 3,000 trees and six water features. The amount of wildlife has increased while still maintaining the smell of salt water and breathtaking panoramic views. On the doglegged holes the new trees have increased the difficulty and a long drive is necessary to obtain a clear view for the approach shot.

After what is a moderately easy start with the short par-3 2nd following a modest length par-4, the difficult holes are dispersed cleverly throughout the course which makes for an excellent test.
The beach, harbour and town are within easy walking distance of the golf course and can be viewed from the 16th tee.

Additionally, the clubhouse was recently refurbished and offers the opportunity to relax after the game with an array of excellent home made food and drinks.

With many other popular nearby courses and a perfect seaside location, this is also a great option for a stay-and-play visit to the east coast. The club participates in the Golf Coast Passport scheme which allows visitors to choose to play at up to five different courses for a heavily discounted price.

Bridlington is one of the most popular resorts on the east coast of Yorkshire. It has long, safe, award winning beaches, a busy harbour and impressive promenades. The beach, harbour and town are within easy walking distance of the golf course and can be viewed from the 16th tee.
