This club dates back to 1903 when a nine-hole course was laid out at Ladyhill Farm but the members moved to Great Oak at Rogerstone within nine years. So the birch, beech and oaks in Llwyni Wood through which it winds are patently mature. The nines are separated by the wood and while mature timber is present throughout, the playing areas are suitably wide to allow you to enjoy your game.
The course stands 300ft above sea level and extends to over 6,500 yards, so is a match for all standards of player. The rolling parkland fairways are noted for their conditioning.
