World-renowned course architect Dave Thomas designed the Cardrona Hotel Championship Golf Course, creating a challenging test of golfing skill for the expert golfer, but also remaining an enjoyable course for the recreational player.
Set amongst the rolling hills of the Tweed Valley, golfers have chance to admire their picturesque surroundings, before negotiating their tee shot.
Playability for golfers of all levels is achieved through a wide choice of tee options, with the course measuring 7010 yards from the championship tees, 6555 yards from the boxes and 6139 yards from the front markers.

Designed in 2001 by Dave Thomas, the quality of the golf course at the Macdonald Cardrona Hotel, Golf & Spa belies its relatively young age. The championship-standard course has hosted events on the Challenge Tour and EuroPro Tour and is a Tartan Pro Tour venue for 2025.
