Beverley and East Riding Golf Club was formed in 1889 – making it the oldest inland club in Yorkshire!
The club is based on the glorious Beverley Westwood pasture land, famous for its landmark Black Mill and Anti-Mill, which our traditional-style Clubhouse is built around.
The 18-hole course is one of Yorkshire’s finest and most natural layouts, enjoying outstanding views of the town and surrounding countryside from many vantage points.
As well as being one of the oldest courses in the North of England, Beverley is frequently praised for the condition of the links-style fairways and fast-running greens.
And although the cattle make the course the attractive and unique challenge that it is, they sometimes get on to a green. Here’s how to calmly get them off the green Removing cattle from a green
