UK Courses - East Anglia

Royal Norwich
Norfolk
6,506 yards, Par 72

FORMED in 1893 and given Royal Patronage by the Duke of York the same year, Royal Norwich is blessed with a rich history and an immaculate course.
The original design is credited to John TW Deuchar but the course you play today was created by James Braid some 40 years later. Parkland in nature, there is a flavour of heathland as well and Royal Norwich begins with a par 3. Cross the road to the 2nd and you will find some of the best holes on the course starting with a sweeping par 4 and including the 8th, a pretty par 4 that is the only original 19th-century hole on the course.
Royal Norwich is open to new members and has a number of options available.

SUBTLE, testing and traditional Hunstanton, on the Norfolk coast, is a links that continues to delight. Throughout the year, the greens remain firm and smooth and with speed of play a particular pride in these parts, you will be back in the cosy clubhouse within three hours and not much more.
The course is located a mile or so outside the town centre and follows the time-honoured links tradition of a front nine that broadly travels away from the clubhouse and an inward half that brings you back again.
Watch out for the formidable 17th – a 450-yard par 4 played into the prevailing wind to a shelf of a green.
