How many times have you figured out the line and pace of a putt, only to stand over the ball and not know where you are supposed to be aiming? It happens a lot at all levels of the game.
Confidence bolster
It sounds simple but drawing a straight line on the ball is a great tool to aim with. Once your ball is marked and lined up, square your feet, knees, hips and shoulders and your putter’s alignment aid.
Take real care in aiming that line and it gives you real confidence. Simply aim it at the line and make the stroke.
