Inhale for better rhythm

Nick Dougherty explains the benefits of breathing

Breathe in

It sounds really obvious and simple, but breathing is a crucial part of every swing. With a putter in hand it will not only help improve rhythm but also relax you. Before you pull the putter back, make sure you take a deep breath...

Breathe out

And then when you start the putter on the through-swing, exhale. If you are struggling on the greens with a bit of added tension this is well worth a try.
