Start your swing correctly

Perfect the first stage of your takeaway

Toe the line

This is designed to work on getting the correct position of the clubface in the early stage of the swing. This shows the correct clubface position with the toe of the club pointing to the sky. Make sure your watch face is facing straight out in front of you. A good grip is also the key to clubface control.

Repetition, repetition...

Ensure your grip is nice and light. Feel like your left arm is the one taking the club away initially. Then get used to turning your shoulders and hands out slightly. Repetition of the correct movement is key.

Not closed for business

Taking the clubface away closed is a common problem. Your watch face will be facing downwards and you won’t be able to see it and this can lead to a lack of control over direction, trajectory and distance.
