Hit more crisper irons

Getting the right angle of attack

Downward spiral

Try this drill if you want to hit your irons crisply. When on the range, place a glove packet about four inches behind the ball then hit shots making sure you miss the packet on the way down.

Clean up your act

If you strike the packet, you are losing your angles and scooping the ball, which results in a poor strike and a loss of power. With wet fairways on the horizon, clean ball striking is vital so work on this and see your scores tumble.
