Ogio Shadow golf bag review
How does the Ogio Shadow golf bag perform? Hannah Holden emptied her bag into this one and went to find out!
When you think of Ogio, you probably think of bright, bold colours, vibrant patterns, and maybe even bananas. The new shadow bag departs from that with a new, more classic style for the more discerning golfer.
The Ogio Shadow Stand Bag has a premium look and feel to hit, but how did it perform out on the golf course?

Ogio Shadow golf bag Review: NCG Summary
NCG SUMMARY
This is a really great all round bag which is small enough to carry but also works really well on a trolley.
It has a really smart, sharp appearance to it and the premium look is matched with a premium build.
Despite the sleek shape and sizing there is a serious amount of storage packed into this bag including some really neat magnetic pockets.
PROS
- Great looking golf bag

- Really comfy carry bag
CONS
- None
First Impressions
From a looks standpoint, this has to be one of my favourite golf bags, which I have received to test in a long time. The added detail of our NCG logo was a really nice touch, too.
I’m not generally one for garish patterns, so I really like how Ogio has pared back the look of this to provide something really sleek and stylish.
Ogio Shadow golf bag review: NCG Review
This has to be one of the most comfortable carry bags I have tested. Ogio has added special padded ribbing to both the bag of the bag and the sleeves, and it makes a huge difference to the carrying experience.
The pocket configuration here is great, with plenty of space for all items. I particularly like the magnetic accessories pocket just below the strap for easy access to things such as GPSs throughout the round.
It definitely felt like there were loads of storage spaces for the size of the bag. There were three possible pockets I could put my water bottle in! Another handy pouch is the magnetic valuables pocket on top of a long pocket with rope and hook to attach keys. This is genius, as I am always trying to remember where I put my keys at the end of the round.
The straps are pretty straightforward to change the length and get a comfy set-up across your back, and that is coming from a 5 foot 4 girly who had to seriously shorten these before I set off!
No detail has been missed. Additional features include a leather handle near the base to help you when lifting into the car, which I think is important. An umbrella holder strap and a velcro glove holder.
Overall, I loved testing this bag out. It is so versatile that it is a perfect option for people who move between carrying and using a trolley. It is also one of the only smaller carry bags that I feel has enough storage to use full time. This will definitely be in my bag rotation this year.
